A delicious experience of truly remarkable Indonesian food. The plates are excellent, just try the mixed one for two people, served either for lunch or dinner.

Do you want to try Genever (traditional Dutch liquer)? Come to this 400 years old bar. There's no seating inside and the place is small, but the whole experience is unique. Staff is very friendly.

This huge public urban park is the best place to relax and hang out. The open-air theatre holds free concerts. Also don't miss the Netherlands Filmmuseum at the pavilion Vondelparkpaviljoen.
Definately the most decent coffeeshop in the city. Unlikely the rest, this place is very well vantilated. The interior design is very cool, keeps you in the mood and enriches your experience. Enjoy!

Huge asian grocery shop, with fresh vegetables, spices, frozen goods, drinks, kitchenware and decoration. Enjoy the ramen shop on 2nd floor. I'm in heaven.

Only 4 tables, but worth a try. Best Pancake restaurant of city in a royal Amsterdam atmosphere. Open 6 days a week between 12.00 and 18.00 hours.

Great museum. Of all the major museums to visit in Amsterdam, this and Van Gogh were my favorite. Visit Het Grachtenhuis before wandering the canals - you'll see the city in a different light.

Best place in town for traditional Amsterdam sandwitches! Must haves include broodje kroket, broodje warm vlees (with jus or peanut sauce) and broodje Filet Americain. Great coffee too!
so many British items you need lots of time to explore the shop. As well as food, they also sell cards, British gifts and lots of Scottish souvenirs. Prices are reasonable as well.worth a visit.
Great meat and some good USA beers like the ones from Anchor Brewing Company. Still have to try L'absurde.
Best roti within Amsterdam for very affordable prices. It's not surprising to see a line out the door at any time of day. Try the chicken roti plate. Filling, spicy, and delicious!
