My fave Astoria bakery. Better service to go than sit down. Unless you sit near the cakes :-) I love the cupcakes especially hazelnut, choco on choco & red velvet. The rainbow cookies are super cheap and the best. There's a $10 min on cards; either come prepared or plan on eating more (not that it's a bad choice).

People rage about the red velvet cake. Fine. When you're done with that, get the "Everything Pie" and experience why it's so much better than anything else they offer.
Seemingly always packed...but service is great and the baked goods are worth the price. Chocolate chip banana bread pudding.
Great place for coffee and desserts however have to mention the quality of the desserts arent as great as they used to be years ago...

Bakery fills the eye but not the pallet. Everything here tastes the same more or less. Ingredients sub standard mass produced quality easily discerned by the non hipster discriminating consumer.

Iced chocolate for the summer and hot chocolate with whipped cream and a cookie for winter.
How much more can you ask for then a bakery that stays on point with a wide variety of baked goods, not veering off the path of pure bakery bliss!

Redvelvetredvelveevevered, okay, sure. But don't overlook the warm chocolate cake with ice cream.
I think I had the worst macaron ever baked! It was burnt and crunchy like a hard cookie and it barely had any filling. It was tiny and not worth $3. I'm surprised that they actually decided to sell it- Mississippi mud pie. Holy cow. So amazing...and should probably have a little insulin on the side! :)
