The VERY best carpet seller in Turkey. Very personable, with the best selection and service, as well as fair prices. I cannot recommend Hakan and his team highly enough!
If you're willing to come here about 4 or 5am, it is completely empty and unbelievably majestic... you can have the entire square with its views to yourself.
Very interesting cistern that used to supply water to the area. Hard to believe that it was forgotten and rediscovered. Check out the fish and the Medusas, and try not to think about Dan Brown!

Fun night, if slightly sketchy. The patio in back is lovely but often full of smoke. GREAT music selection. Non-alcoholic drinks are the same price as alcoholic, which is not good.
Spectacular collection of restored standing totem poles. Parking can be a chore but paying for parking supports the local community.

The best coffee in town, with amazing sandwiches and pastries as well. Also contains a boatload of work by local artists, with an unmatched view of the narrows. Great for watching floatplanes.
