This PO has the best soul music Muzak in DC.
ALWAYS a line, and SLOWEST SERVICE EVER.
Put your own labels on priority packages ahead of time. Otherwise youll hold up the line.
Hours: 9a-Noon and 1p-5p. Closed weekends.
I think they've had a "come to Jesus" with the staff. Overnite the women have become polite lambs instead of the dragons they always have been.
Short staffed as always. Sigh... The associate Erica however is very helpful, very friendly and overworked!
Rudest women working here! Geez! Smile or something. :|
How does a post office not have a stamp vending machine? #fail
Bring your own pen!
Really slow staff and awful hours.
If you are in a rush, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I came on the day the a/c apparently wasn't working and there was only 1 person working. Not a quick in and out experience.
I told my boss I had to take a 3 hour lunch because I had to go to the post office where only 1 clerk works amd the line is out od the door! AT ANY TIME OF DAMN DAY!
Awful attitudes here. This why I'll usually pay extra at FedEx! Running late is the only reason I'm here...
Want surly attitudes? Want mail carriers who read at a fifth-grade level and consistently send mail to the wrong addresses? Then this is the shithole for you!
Stuff is full of attitude.- Just saw tip about service unfriendly- so not true - very friendly.
Rich P. has no idea what he's talking about, as is typical of those obsessed with privatization. Great service here.- 11am on Tuesday - barely a wait
If the line is long use the automated machine
Bring your letters here, place it in a larger piece of paper, purchase one postage stamp, and it will appear at the address written on the front. Amazing!
Sara and LaVerne are a trip -- I like coming to this office!
📫in and out! Great service! 📩
Ms. Yvette is awesome. She'll make your day if you're nice to her.
Absolutely love Ms. Yvette!!
Avoid at all cost, for being the post office headquarters in DC it is a horrible example of service. And really: one person and a line 20 deep? No wonder UPS and FedEx are killing them.
Terrible customer service. Get your postage and/or passport somewhere else.
avoid the shady dude "Fleming"... Whistling or popping gum, bit seldom pleasant.
They act like we don't need post offices anymore but it's always a line.
Horrible customer service. The staff here are not friendly or welcoming. Unfortunately, this is the only place in DC that accepts walk-ins for passport applications.
