Favorite Restaurants in Ames

Christi Johnson: Food and beer is great! Pretty much anything you order is delicious. Service could use some serious work though.

Christi Johnson: Sister restaurant to Wallaby's. GREAT food!

Christi Johnson: Address on foursquare is wrong. It's 3605 Lincoln Way, Ames, IA. Love their strawberry margaritas, they don't use a disgusting mix like a lot of "Mexican" food restaurants. Service and food is great!

Christi Johnson: Everybody loves Panera, come on. When and if they have their chicken and wild rice soup GET IT. Their mac and cheese is amazing too.

Christi Johnson: We've always had good luck at this place. I know it's not "true" seafood, but it's the best you can get in town.

Christi Johnson: West Towne is going on the list for the boyfriend's sake. It's pretty much the same thing as Wallaby's (although I think the food isn't as good and the atmosphere isn't the same).

Christi Johnson: GREAT pizza. We've actually had a couple mix-ups their with orders but they are always taken care of promptly and the manager is very friendly.

Christi Johnson: Having worked at Cold Stone for 3 years it's nice to have something healthier and JUST as good. Good variety and a fun little toppings buffet. Check out their rewards card too!

Christi Johnson: Great for if you want a romantic night out and not your usual $8 plate (expect to pay about $15). Great service and atmosphere. Plus you get what you pay for with the food.

Christi Johnson: Nice little coffee shop. All their food is simple but amazing. Great atmosphere to sit and do homework or catch up with a friend.
