Great place for gyoza (obviously) and other Japanese dishes. Although the service could be better (refused to give us the table we want) or smarter (filled my DRINK class with water).
The view is great & the decor is unique. The food is amazing, particularally the seafood!!

amazing food. lamb popsicles for the meat eaters, saag-paneer for the vegetarians. the service isn't the greatest, no reservations either but the food makes it worthwhile to put up with it.
Don't be turned off by the wait -- eat here, order anything and everything, you won't regret it. Not to mention that Vij is an awesome host and takes real good care of his guests.

Mussels are brought in fresh everyday. Currently they have Salt Spring Island mussels which are smaller and tender. Highly recommend.
The worst service. 30 mins just to order. 45 mins to get a glass of water or a coffee. Food arrived cold. If you've been there 10 mins without service: go someplace else now it will only get worse.
You can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches here, the porchetta is especially delicious. Napkins & water at the back. Their mustard is outstanding & available for sale.
