    Right beside the lake, you'd be able to find a row of Tibetan merchants selling theor goods there. Not to say cheap but would be great to support them.

    Very nice place. Boating is a must have experience. By cycle available for rent on hourly basis. You can take a round of the lake. It's an unique experience.

    Evenings are the perfect time for walks or cycling around the lake. Lovely weather and beautiful scenery.

    Go during off season times and enjoy cycling around the lake. Tiresome but so much of stress reliever!

    Try going to the backside of Lake, where there's this Kodaikanal Boat Club. All time there's availability of boats. Charges are the same as that of the government operated boats.

    Kodai is best visited in Winter between October to January & stay in a place a lil away from the town. The mist covered scene is the most wonderful.

    Its definitely a good place to visit, cycling or walking. But the water looks so dirty and littering spoiling the envrionment.
