As part of an unpublicised 1997 protest against the installation of CCTV cameras in London, artist Rick Buckley attached around 35 models of his own nose to various buildings. A few still survive.

    "The tunnel was created in 1855 to allow horsedrawn carriages to reach the Park Estate from Derby Road. Designed to have a 1:14 gradient but dug with a 1:12, it proved too steep for its purpose."
