Jason Townsend: It's worth going out here from DC for a meal. The decor is over the top, but the food is what you came for. Simply amazing. Plus, was shocked the wine list had several good value bottles on it.

Lulu: Request a seat in front of the open kitchen so you can watch the chefs work their magic! Try the beets, octopus, uni spaghetti, and duck breast - yum!
Jason Townsend: There is no menu, no chalkboard -- just whatever the chef is fixing for the entire dining room. It's an amazing foodie experience and well worth the (rather reasonable) price.

Jason Townsend: I recommend dropping in and sitting at the bar. The bartender will pour you samples of all sorts of things and really guide you to the best dishes being prepared that night.
Jason Townsend: L'Ourcine is best known for the informal atmosphere, friendly service, and wonderful cooking. The blackboard menu makes the most of fresh seasonal produce and makes each visit unique.
