J Crowley: Why have I been hanging out on Bourbon St?! Frenchmen is 10x cooler. This place has a crazy long beer selection. Drink up.

J Crowley: Excellent iced-coffee, says this guy from Brooklyn. No seating though, so take it to go and sit on the benches in Jackson Square.

J Crowley: Good breakfast alternative to the fancy places with a long wait. Sausage egg an cheese sandwiches on a biscuit. Pass on the grits. Nothing special.

J Crowley: Belly up to the spinning carousel bar and order a fancy cocktail, preferably something with dramamine.

J Crowley: Can't leave NOLA w/out hitting this famous dueling pianos bar. Impossible to get a seat late night, so go around 6pm. Killer requests: Sweet Child of Mine, Wonderwall, Smells like Teen Spirit.

J Crowley: Incredible local dive away from the Bourbon St madness. Shrimp po boy and a (small sized) frozen Irish coffee are the move. Drop a shot of Jameson's in it - trust me.

J Crowley: The charbroiled oysters will blow your mind! Cooked in butter, parm, and garlic - they're way better than the raw ones. Pro tip: order an extra side of garlic bread to sop up the sauce!

J Crowley: One of oldest bars in US. Candle lit. Awesome

J Crowley: Best brunch in New Orleans. Grits and biscuits are unreal.

Dens: Last time I was here I drank 2 & 1/2 Kate's Koolers. Four hours later I was beating my buddy with a "Caution: Wet Floor" sign and throwing another buddy's luggage in a drunken rage. Beware.

Dens: One block off Bourbon Street and filled with antique swords, guns, knives, etc... don't miss the old US dollars and the knife-gun-brass-knuckle combo weapon. Ka-pow!

J Crowley: I know it sounds crazy but the peanut butter bacon burger is surprisingly good. When else you gonna find this on a menu? Side of Mac n cheese.
