We were very well cared for by the staff who were attentive and informative about the menu. The food was simply delicious. Steak to share was fantastic.
Had the tasting menu with wine flight and it was very tasty. Wine portions were huge! Walked in and they let us sit at the bar while we waited for a table.
Hugely variable experience depending on bartender. They have some Scotch that’s not in the menu.
The walk from the visitor centre is beautiful and peaceful but takes about 30-45 minutes and is partly uphill.
Clean and comfortable rooms. Sadly no food while we were there and we weren’t informed so make sure you check.

So. So. Good. Everyone serving was super friendly and they even gave us some extra pork. You have to go if you’re staying locally or driving through.

Clean room and easy to get around from. Breakfast is nothing special but overall pretty decent stay.

Don’t rush the audio tour! Take some time to enjoy the gardens if it’s a sunny day.
Absolutely fascinating and well preserved. You can tour the run down medical wings if you book in advance with the park service.
