Kind of overwhelming the first visit because it's so big, but a really nice place. Their board game night every other month is really fun as well.

Gigiมีนาคม 28, 2010Superfriendly librarians. Great selection of materials, and a nice place to spend an hour or two. At the cafe, the brownie tasted a few days old, but the hot chocolate was delish.
bonus book stash: find the stairs back by the non-fiction section that lead to a study room with a wall full of "for sale" used books. just grab your book & take it back upstairs to pay for it.
Very relaxing place to be. If they don't have the book you want they can find it in another library even in another state.
at the Cofee-ol-ogy cafe, if you order a chocolate or caramel flavored drink with whipped cream, you can get chocolate or caramel syrup drizzled on the top of it.- HPL Managerสิงหาคม 29, 2011Need the quietest place to study? - Found out if you live out of the county even though your on the border and if the place you live is not in B'ham you have to pay $50 to renew your card. Which happens in 2 weeks for me
