    Klassisch Bier und Haxe ist sehr lecker. Das Fleisch ist sehr sehr gut gewürzt. Geselliges Beisammensein im Biergarten eben.

    Münchner gehen leider viel zu selten ins Hofbräuhaus. Unverständlich, da das Essen gut und die Preise fair sind - anders als in vergleichbaren Lokalitäten.

    You HAVE TO eat the pork knuckle! And the maxi pretzel is fabulous too. It's not very expensive (€20 disch and beer)

    No visit to Munich is complete without a visit at this famous "Wirtshaus". Ask for the price of a locker for you mug :-) In summer I prefer the small beer garden in the back.

    Natürlich sehr touristisch. Wenn man das mag und dafür Abstriche in der Qualität aufgrund Massenproduktion in Kauf nimmt ist man hier genau richtig.

    Place was very crowded, we find a table in 15min and ordered in 15min but food was good, beer was good. Loved the place!

    A must if First time in Munich!!! Very touristic tough and the service is not always that great... Recommend the famous Schweinshaxe and " a maß"

    When in Munich this is where you have to go!! First order a Maß of beer and then choose anything from the menu, you won't be disappointed!! Waiters can sometimes be a little rude..

Das Hofbräuhaus ist ein weltberühmter Münchner Bierpalast. Es war lange Zeit der Sitz der dazugehörigen Brauerei Hofbräu, woraus es auch die Berechtigung für die weitere Nutzung des Präfix Hof ableitet. Das Gebäude liegt in der Münchner Altstadt am Platzl.
