    Not your average veggie burger. So much more and handmade with oats and grains and tofu. A little messy at times but so worth it! Carnivores and veggies alike, try out out!

    Best beer in the city and the biggest patio with an incredible view. However, the food is very hit or miss and several of the servers are terrible and rude. Go for the beer and the garlic fries.

    Perfect place to have a bite and beer and watch the snow flying on the Halifax Harbour! Yummy Gastropub food.

    The plates seem a little "cold" in terms of the presentation...a certain warmth is missing and the gravy seems to be "canned" versus a thick, true English gravy. Needs more warmth feeling.

    It gets crazy busy in the summer, so try to come in around 2 for a late lunch. :)

    'HOPPY TUESDAY' is every tuesday from 5pm until close (not 4-7pm as Ben states) $2 per glass off Thistle's own hand crafted beers!

    Decent food, Calamari was delicious and nicely presented, however the portion size for redfish sandwich was smallish

    Not a full house and waited 1.5 hours for fish and chips and a salad. Lots of staff, limited attention. Zzzzzzz The mediocre ratings and reviews were spot on.

    Food is reasonable. Kind of expensive for what you get. The $3 adder for a side garden salad isn't worth the upgrade.

    Clearly aimed to exploit tourists, this place is overpriced and has a very limited selection at the bar. Lobster roll and chowder with Caesar was $30?! It was the worst lobster roll I've ever had.

    Do not order the southern fried chicken, it's re heated, not crispy and the Mac salad taste like its from a store. Nasty!
