Must see. Libeskind's building is a superb example of "emotional" architecture. Visit the basement and the holocaust tower but beware it is very disorienting and disturbing.
Play beach volleyball on one if their dozens of courts and then enjoy a well-deserved beer and burger on the deck as you watch the sun set over Berlin.
Bring lots of time and patience. First you'll stand in line for an hour to get inside, then another half an hour in line to get in the pool. (On a hot & sunny day)

Less touristy, less busy and more nature than Badeschiff. Not as fancy, but just as nice to get refreshed on a warm day!
It costs 5,50 € into the beach which I wasn't expecting and unless you wanna pay extra for a sunbed I recommend heading to the left end with the trees and large open space.

Excellent place. Today the water was a bit greenish and I saw a 35 cm large carp slowly dying in the water. Maybe it was just a coincidence, but put me off from swimming. Anyway relaxing place!!!

Take the boat to the island! Then walk across the island until you see lots of naked old German men on a rope swing.
Best swimming lake in the area, worth the trip. Beware the FKK side of the island unless that is your scene.
Vorhängeschloss und Decke mitbringen. Gute 50m Bahn. Hat wohl nur bis 19.30 geöffnet, obwohl 20 Uhr veröffentlicht wird. Stein und Liegewiesen vorhanden.
Massive grass area so isn't too cramped. Has a slide and diving board but would recommend bringing some sort of game with you or you (or your kids) might get a little bored of the pool.
If you want to enjoy the full 50m tracks, be aware that between 12.00 and 18.00 this pool gets divived due to the diving platform.
Grab some icecream in the upstairs coffee bar, it's the best way to cool off from dancing
Located right on the canal and it has some really cool outdoor space. Indoors or outdoors, this is a great place to slam a few Club Mate and vodkas and get weird.
Ask for labyrinth on the bar... crazyyyy place! I felt like Alice in wonderland ;-)
Incredible alternative art gallery and club. If u wanna dance in a destroyed & abandoned pool, u'r on the right place ;)
My favorite club in the whole world! Been here more than 100 nights and each one was spectacular. Non-stop dancin' from 3 am till 8 am!
The garden is one of the best after hour locations in Berlin (at least if you aren't a tourist!)

I don't know many clubs in berlin, but this must be one of the best. Dirty club with crazy people, very small and intense, and it seems like the music never stops.
