Australian-leaning lunch and breakfast spot inside downtown's Ace Hotel; be sure to grab a drink, as coffee and cocktails are both a must. 2 stars.
Seriously one of the best brunches in LA. Start with one of their fresh pastries (best almond croissant I've had in a long time) and then the avocado toast with cream cheese and on rye bread.
Great ambience and decor, though don't get put into the backroom as that's not as cute. The oxtail sliders and pork cheeks are amazing. Selection of cheese and charcuterie is on point.
Best bet is Share, get multiple plates to share. Great food, amazing space, reasonable prices, this place is definitely going to be on many DTLA top restaurant lists. Cheers, Enjoy!!
Green curry with scallops for the win! Perfectly crispy sear on the scallops and just the right amount of heat in the curry.
The watermelon salad was great starter and has pickled grapes! Never had picked grapes before but I'm into it.
