Prince shot Purple Rain here, so it’s def. legendary. If you get the chance to see a show here, do so. The place is big enough to feel the energy, yet small enough to see the band.
Quinn Mสิงหาคม 26, 2014Love the space, it's wide enough that you can see wherever you're standing and not too deep so you're always pretty close to the stage. Large bathrooms too.- Great sight lines, even when it's packed. I like to stand stage right by the coat check if I want to hear the music but don't really care to watch the band.
See the bartender at the upstairs front bar (by the windows) with the white shirt and rolled up sleeves. Best bartender in the cities!!! He's amazing and reads minds. Or just KNOWS

The headliner usually goes on around 10 p.m. Get there well before that for sold out shows for a good spot though.

Try the Diamond Dog. It's a hot dog wrapped in bacon, AND it's named after a Bowie record!

It's not a good idea to try to smoke weed in here. Security is on point and they will kick your ass out!! ...unless you are real sneaky about it- Catch a show from right behind the sound board. Enjoy the great view, the superb mix and easy access to the back bar.

If you can't see the stage check out the tv monitors, the VJ's do an excellent job.
