Beautiful pub as they ought to be. Fortunately never 'pimped up' like so many of London's public houses. The restaurant is very good too (excellent steaks and pies).

Pub food on the ground floor, gigantic pizzas on the 1st floor, and plenty of meat on the 2nd floor. All washed down with a pint in the beer garden.
Great beer selection and good overall pub. It can get busy though. Be sure to check thoroughly for seats, especially the basement.

One of the best pubs I've been to in London. Very old school. If it's packed downstairs, you'll prob find seats upstairs.
