Donna L: The signs in the bar say "order food at the bar," but we had a server help us. A bit confusing, but very good po'boys and bread pudding.

Donna L: Good breakfast, and nice happy hour offerings, including pizza and beer flights.

Donna L: Windows are single-paned, so lots of street noise in our corner room. Could hear the "cars exiting" announcement from the garage across the street quite well. White noise helped us sleep.

Donna L: Excellent food; like professional home cooking. Rotating menu. English menu available. Cash only.

Donna L: Nice overview of the history of the city and some history or art there too

Donna L: Cash only, but food is excellent and service is good.

Donna L: Take your server's suggestions on drinks and food, and leave room for dessert! And try a flight of local brews while you peruse the menu.

Donna L: Large barn past the pond has 2 exhibits. Go through 1 of the 2 unmarked doors for info of John Brown's life & underground railroad video & a restroom. Around back there is an exhibit on the 2nd floor.

Donna L: When there's no availability, ask if you can eat at the bar. You may have to be proactive to get your order in. (We asked the hostess who took our order for us).
