Digitalizuj.Me: Nice little town, 75km northern from Podgorica. Accessible by car, bus or train. Ideal for skiing in winter time and very pleasant for summer vacation.
Digitalizuj.Me: Great traditional pie - burek! Some would even say, the best in Montenegro. Here you can find some very good sweets as well. Also, this is a great breakfast spot.
Digitalizuj.Me: A wonderful place to start discovering not-so-known stories of Kolašin. Great spot for traditional breakfast with honey! Call one day in advance to announce your visit. Hosts do speak English.
Digitalizuj.Me: This is the river which flows through Kolašin and into Tara. It is very interesting because its riverbed is filled with stones of volcanic origin. These stones have very interesting shapes and colors.
Digitalizuj.Me: Miodrag Šćepanović, sculptor from Kolašin, uses this stone as material for his work. Among the prizes he won so far, there is also one from Salon d'Automne in Paris, where he got 1st prize in 2006.
Digitalizuj.Me: A very interesting project done by local outdoors club: free climbing wall! Also, it's a great place to visit - even if you're not a fan of climbing.
Digitalizuj.Me: If you happen to be in Kolašin on Monday morning, you should definitely visit Farmers Market. Here you can buy not only fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy products, but also clothes and home supplies.
Digitalizuj.Me: Garden is open for visitors from May 1st until September 1st. Tickets and information about working days and hours can be found in Tourism Organization of Kolašin.

Digitalizuj.Me: The first botanical garden in Montenegro - it was formed in 1981. It occupies the area of 646 m2 and is situated at an altitude of 1018m above sea level.
Digitalizuj.Me: At the top of this hill you'll find remains of an old Turkish fortress, which was built at the end of 18th century. Also, the view of Kolašin is great.
Digitalizuj.Me: Even if you don't speak the local language, you can still enjoy seeing the artwork and some crafts that were used in everyday life of people who lived in Kolašin several centuries ago.
Digitalizuj.Me: Another spot that climbers simply must check out! However, it's artistic and innovative in a way that will make every visitor wanna see it anyway. And also, it's located in the center of the town.
Digitalizuj.Me: Here you can rent a bike for a very favorable price: 1h - 1Eur, 6h - 5Eur, 24h - 8Eur. The stand is opened every day 9am - 12am and 4pm - 9pm.
Digitalizuj.Me: Wonderful place in a countryside - great ending to a bike ride from Kolašin. Fresh dairy products and other food from this region. You will love it!
Digitalizuj.Me: The farm is about 13km away from the city center and owned by Puletić femily. People are very friendly and welcoming. This is an opportunity to experience life in a Montenegrin village.
Digitalizuj.Me: If you decide to stay the night in the park, you have the wooden cottages with bungalows for sleeping (11.5 Eur per person) or a campsite in which you can pitch your tent (3 Eur for a small tent).
