Second time at golden gai, Tachibana & plastic model bar were boring. Go to Sokai across from Tachibana. We had a great time with the owner; he also gave us a couple free rounds & offered us umbrellas
More 'cabinet of curiosities' than museum and its free! Definitely go if you are in the area.

A little hard to find: you have to look for the tiny sign and go down the stairs. But great beers and you can taste before you buy. Small space so don't try to bring a group here.
