As a visiting British tourist this was a perfect hipster L.A. cafe. Great atmosphere and super trendy. Had a cold brew iced coffee that was pretty good but mainly just went for the experience!
Ever seen that episode of Stella where Black & Wain open their own coffee shop called The Hang Zone? Of course you haven't. That's what Cafe de Leche feels like though. The ultimate hang zone.
Everything bagel with Jalepeno cream cheese. I'm addicted to it. The coffee is great, the space is well designed, it's just a great place to hang out and grab a coffee.
Only place I know in L.A. that has Stumptown Coffeewhole beans, which are quite good. Bar drinks are fantastic—about the same price as Starbucks—but very well crafted espresso by skilled baristas.
Every chick who works here is hot in that tatted up, ethnically ambiguous, briefly dabbled in bisexuality way that reminds me why boobies are sometimes awesome.
