- Sarina Meonesกันยายน 17, 2016Great African Art exhibit on the 5th floor. Beat event and opening had nothing about the 60's Beat Generation which was disappointing.
- The Counter Cafe is excellent! Try the Croque Monsieur--outstanding! The lentil soup was great!
- Come see the small GO exhibit. It gives you an idea of what Brooklyn artists currently does. Make sure check out the iPad with all open studios weekend images! Nice project! Up till Feb 18, 2013

- There are some wonderful surprises in the Luce Center for American Art, such as an array of Latin American Spanish Colonial paintings, silverwork, polychrome sculpture, and furniture. Don't miss it!

- Stop by the Brooklyn Roasting Company stand in the lobby, but only after you finish with the museum (they don't tell you that you can't bring drinks inside)

- The museum is not open 7 days a week. Museum timing: Wed 11A.M. - 6PM, Thu 11AM - 10PM, Fri, Sat, Sun - 11AM - 6PM. First Saturdays every month except sep. Entry free beyond 5PM.

- Love this museum! First Saturdays is fun but come any other time and you feel like you have the whole museum to yourself.
