You know it’s a big chicken fry when you have to turn your phone sideways to get a picture! And it’s very good! Sides are nothing special but with a chicken fry this big who needs sides?
I got a fatty and a strawberry milkshake and both were very good and the prices are very reasonable too!
I got a half bird with a biscuit and it was very good. I did spend $20 for just me. I wish I had known there was a drumstick special. I would have gotten that instead but the waitress didn’t tell me.
There’s a ton of stuff in this museum for such a little town. It is worth a visit if you are in the area and are interested in Oklahoma history.
Don’t let the woman selling tickets talk you out of the tour like she tried to do us. Robin is a wonderful tour guide. Ike, LBJ, and Rayburn were all here together in 1946. Tours start on the hour.
I’ve had every combo here. The best is a #1-Original Double but all the burgers are good. The worst is the hot dog, not terrible, just not as good as the rest.
I got a spicy chicken schwarma. At first it didn’t seem spicy at all but by the time I finished it I was feeling the heat a little. But the flavor was really good and there is a lot of meat in it.
Only 6 bucks for a burger and fries! And they are not bad considering it is cafeteria food!
The combination fried rice is pretty good! And so are the spring rolls. They were out of boba.
Well I tried the chicken fry again and unfortunately it wasn’t near as good this time. The flavor was still very good but the cut of meat was really tough making it hard to chew. Will try again.

The chicken fried steak is delicious. Maybe the best chicken-fry I’ve ever had and I grew up in Oklahoma!
One of 5 pretty popular Mexican restaurants in Durant. But I think this one is the most reasonably priced. And the food is just as good as the others!
