    I was a bit weary to try "Southern" food up here but this place was on point. The gumbo was really good, cornbread with the right amount of sweetness and the pulled pork was great. Excellent service!

    The fried chicken is amazing! The jambalaya is amazing! Has a slight kick to it. Make sure they bring you hot cornbread! Live Music on various nights... GreAt for bar, date night and family

    The catfish fry was legit ...I’m from CT but moved to VT 8 years ago.aren’t with the cultural places or diversity yet ....homemade coleslaw was perfect not fan of mayo it was light and not@acidic

    A must visit to have a mal while in Hartford. Fried okra and pickles, St Louis rubbed ribs, collard green were fabulous. Also, a pretty view of the Soldier's Arch of Bushnell Park from the window.

    I’ve been coming here for yrs. They’d The ribs & chicken are great.Took my little niece for the first time and she was euphoric. She loved the Mac & cheese with fried chicken.

    I love the gumbo! Very comfortable atmosphere. Easy to sit at the bar as a single person. Everyone is super friendly.

    Great pulled pork sandwich. A tiny bit dry for my taste, but that's nothing that BBQ sauce can't fix.

    Cool vibe and decor. Food was disappointing overall. Ribs were bland and dry. Brisket was forgettable. Service was slow. Get the sausage and catfish if you must. 2.5/5

    Nothing is good here. Chicken was dirty with feathers still on the wing. Mac and cheese was dry af. Collard greens were soggy. I hate here
