After going to about 9 NYC bike shops in search of the best performance hybrid, I found that Bicycle Habitat definitely had the best selection. Staff is hit or miss, but overall a great spot.

Hal is one of the best bike mechanics I've ever met. Knowledgable and fast he's guaranteed to fix what's ailing your bike.
