Dimly lit, minimal interior. Great place to find quiet and good coffee on a weekend. The Nordic sandwiches are an acquired taste.

There's something of the Sweeney Todd about this place. The coffee is so rich they must be putting something illicit in there. Peer down into the basement to see some suspicious equipment.

Timberyard was sorely needed in the Covent Garden area. It's a freelancers dream with lots of plugs, WiFi, plenty of tables, meeting rooms for hire, amazing coffee and great food served all day!
Really nice interior here. I got a nicely brewed cup of aeropress from one of the two baristas behind the bar. They also sell their own roasted beans. Definitely check it out if you're in the area!

Lovely new spot from the Happiness Forgets crew. A bit more relaxed than their Hoxton home, with a vintage North American feel. Great cocktails, good beer list and pool tables. My new favourite local.
The scotch egg starter and pork shawarma kebab was excellent but make sure you ask for chilli sauce if you like things a bit spicy

Pizza will take ages to arrive but it will be worth the wait. Both laksa chicken and spicy salami were brilliant and goes well with their IPA.

The lunch menu is incredibly great value. The food, presentation and service are sublime. Original menu and ample selection of yummy dishes.
For lunch, just get two small plates per person. You will have a feast for cheap. Coffee is amazing here, so save some room at the end.
