A (relative) newcomer to the San Jose ramen scene, but has decent broth and noodles on par with its competitors at a (marginally) cheaper rate. I got the corn & pork ramen and it was pretty good!
The noodles are premade, which is why they aren't the star of this fare. It's the broth, and since broth makes ramen more than the ramen makes ramen... this is one of the best ramen places around.
The broth is thinner compared to other places in the bay, indicating less fat is added to the broth. The shoyu flavor is mild, and the noodles are nom! It's one of my top ramen places in the bay!
Avoid the Kuro ramen; the roasted garlic overpowers everything good about their ramen. Stick with the Tonkotsu Ramen. House-made noodles & a well cooked egg makes this one of my fav joints in the bay!
This place is all about customization: from saltiness of broth to doneness of noodles. Def. go for the noodles a little under. They'll cook more as you nom! It's one of my fav ramen joints in the bay!

They have Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream, making this the only place I've seen with it in the South Bay. Get the Secret Breakfast (ice cream + bourbon + corn flakes? Yes please)!
If you are wussy with spicy food, beware. The food is delicious (best Ethiopian I've had in the Bay Area), but it can absolutely be spicy!
A small, local joint with authentic cuisine, try the Koobideh Joojeh or Sheereen Polo to get a feel for their food.
The sushi rice here might be the best I've had in the Bay Area (that wasn't a michelin-star joint). What does this mean? Skip rolls and nigiri (blasphemy?!) and go straight for a chirashi bowl.
Bonus points if you won the lottery by find a parking spot in their lot. Reward your luck with those amazing, amazing egg puffs. Make sure to dip them in the cinnamon sugar for enhanced yumminess!
Get the honey bread. It's only at this honeyberry and it's fantastic. Like french toast for dessert!
Sugar free choices here (esp rose and fig) are as excellent as the regular flavors. Try a sample and see if you like them!
If you want to order a savory crepe or sandwich AND a dessert crepe (no judging!), just ask and they'll delay making your dessert crepe until you're ready.
When it's in season, get the shaved ice! While only the 'cup' size can be taken to-go, the 'mini' size is more than enough for two!
The pork belly grilled skewer here is mind-blowing. Just melts in your mouth. Amazing flavor!

Park at the Mormon church on Stelling rd. The lot is free and as long as you park near the back they don't tow.
