The roast beef po-boy dressed with swiss was not only a value, but delicious beyond words. Definitely the best I've had in Nola and worth the sticky fingers. It's as if a sub mated with a french dip.
The Ray Ray is one of the best po-boys in the city. Absolutely delicious. The baked beans are tangy and garlicky, with big chunks of sausage. The Bayou Brisket po-boy is very good.
Get a number, get in line, order a large shrimp or oyster (or half-and-half), dressed. And watch them make it. Enjoy at the bar with a beer. Perfect.
