Alfred M.: 'Solomillo de Pepe Anca' (cooked medio) might be the best steak I've ever tasted. super tender. you might not even need to chew. get it.

Alfred M.: took a day tour and it was gorgeous. the boat ride back is especially crazy if there's chop. let the hotel put EVERYTHING IN PLASTIC. even your phone and small bag. you will get soaked. promise.

Alfred M.: perfect local food. eat here instead of some of the stuffier restaurants. nice staff. speaking spanish helps.

Alfred M.: bartender is a genius. nice vibe. speaks english if that's your thing.

Alfred M.: fantastic selection of booze. peanuts with your beer. chill atmosphere. bartender plays an oddly amazing mix of latin/brit/american rock and folk.

Alfred M.: nice scenery and open air. great drink menu. they sell Cuban cigars too. wear pants if you don't want mosquitos to eat your tasty flesh.

Alfred M.: all positive thoughts! we stayed 4 nights. great breakfast, nice pool. service excellent. room very clean. it's worth every penny. via apia bar across street muy bueno.

Alfred M.: wanted to love it. the space is very cool. food is ok and inexpensive. drinks top notch. service friendly, but you have to get their attention to order--it gets old quick. left mildly annoyed.

Alfred M.: perfect place to eat atop monserrate. don't get too drunk. you still have to deal with altitude and the terrifying ride down

Alfred M.: get the novillo and the brie in caramel sauce with almonds. whoa. cocktails good, staff nice. perfect airy atmosphere. would go back 100 times.

Alfred M.: it's tiny in here. totally worth it though. get the tamales and chocolate completo. staff is amazing. buen provecho.

Alfred M.: such a great little boutique. centrally located. easy access to everything. staff super friendly. we had a Spanish speaker so that helped. enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast.

Alfred M.: had the pale ale and the porter. maybe it's the altitude, but these are very very good beers. carlos behind the bar is super friendly. didn't have the food but it looked delicious.

Alfred M.: stumbled in here on a drizzly Saturday afternoon. cozy vibe. got some aguilas, empanadas and chicharron. watched soccer. menu is impressive.

Alfred M.: always friendly staff. old bay popcorn. decent draft selection. if $7 is too much, there's PBR and gansett.
