Staff are grumpy as hell 99.9% of the time and very busy in peak lunch times, so always visit when it's quieter!

Possibly the best place to get your take away al desco lunch, whether it be salad, sandwich, roast or a frittata in London Bridge. Pastries and cakes too if you are that way inclined.

Monmouth coffee and nice food. Think whole foods but a little less expensive. Staff are a bit austere though, which is the only downside.

Londonistมีนาคม 16, 2011After a refurb sometime in 2010, this place has a great hot sandwich bar and amazing looking cakes. Some seats, but best to take out and eat by the river.

James Backhouseกรกฎาคม 18, 2011Seems like a nice place - the chocolate cookie was good, big & quite cheap. The staff weren't particularly friendly though. Free wifi (ask at the counter for the code) & plugs.
James gives great service and makes the best caffe moca. There is also one girl here on weekdays that makes the best toast!

I found their food quite bland, except the cakes. Cakes are ace and the scones are bigger than your own head.

Everything tastes good but portions are small and overpriced. Most of those working there are rude and grumpy. Ok option for a quick lunch.

The plum sponge and raspberry bakewell are bloody scrummy.
