eric bornemann: Worth the very short but hot hike up for the views and the work.

eric bornemann: The most beautiful church in all of NYC. Stunning gothic homage architecture and stained glass. Wonderful congregation and preachers. Great venue for music as well.

eric bornemann: The interior is an architectural rip off of Les Invalides but it’s a stunning place none the less. Get extra points if you ask the staff who is buried in Grant’s Tomb.

eric bornemann: Great place for all your outdoor needs. They also have a great selection of hiking maps

eric bornemann: Great modern Mexican food. The lamb is insanely good as are the margaritas. Nice little outdoor seating on the alley.

eric bornemann: Really great fish joint. The oyster are delicious- some of the best in town. Trout roll is great and you’ll be eating the french fries for days. A great recent addition to Pasadena.

eric bornemann: Nice rolling hills with views down to the ocean and beyond on a clear day. Crowded on weekends but tons of parking.

eric bornemann: Great beer (Horse Latitudes Double IPA is tasty) and surprisingly good food. Fish and Chips are a huge amount to good quality fish. Well worth a stop when in town.

eric bornemann: Decent pizza for a mountain town. Really generous portions and friendly staff.

eric bornemann: Beautiful easy trail that is great for families but can get really crowded on weekends. Leave a car at the south end and start at Humber Park and it’s all down hill. Can be icy in winter at the start

eric bornemann: Great Airbnb to stay at. Super clean, awesome back yard and views from the deck. Awesome fireplace although it does leak smoke.

eric bornemann: Nice hiking center with a variety of trails all with that pine forest smell. Summit Trail is great but can be a scramble at the end if you are trying to make it back before they close the gate.

eric bornemann: Good and tasty Indian food in a funky location.

eric bornemann: Good classic French fare that is somewhat underrated in NYC. The bar is great as well to get stuffed on the delicious gougeres while you sip.

eric bornemann: Wine is ok. Nice atmosphere to have a tasting on a spring afternoon.

eric bornemann: Some nice back terraces make this better than most other similar Irish pubs in the area.

eric bornemann: Nice small boutique hotel. A bit out of the way but quiet.

eric bornemann: Great cinnamon buns and coffee, nice tables to eat out back.

eric bornemann: Really solid Italian restaurant with wonderful pastas and meat dishes. A bit on the expensive side but hey it’s Montecito.
