eric bornemann: Nice easy little walk in the woods with big trees. Nice stream for kids to play in as well.

eric bornemann: Good bagel sandwiches to go for your hike. The multicultural bagel is great. However, the staff is so stoned they will likely screw up your order. Coffee is meh.

eric bornemann: Beautiful preserved forests and coastline. Be sure to get a pass to do the Tall Trees Trail to get off the beaten path.

eric bornemann: Fog usually lifts by afternoon in the summer. Unless you are doing Fern Canyon there are other beaches that are much easier to get to.

eric bornemann: Great place for kids to run and explore. Make sure you bring water shoes. It’s way out of the way but fun.

eric bornemann: Good old school style restaurant that is located in a beautiful old house. Halibut is good and the staff is super friendly.

eric bornemann: Great coffee and even more amazing pastries and muffins. Just wish they had sandwiches ready to go in the morning to grab for a hike.

eric bornemann: The road is pretty touristy but make sure you explore Humboldt Redwoods State Park and hit up the groves off Mattole road.

eric bornemann: Beautiful place and well worth the drive. Be sure to hit up the black sand beach - it’s incredible.
