Fantastic outdoor seating in summer. Ale choice ok. Management changes regularly so you're never sure what the local crowd will be like. Generally chav free with only the occasional harmless bellend

Fantastic gastropub! The scotch egg starters are beautifully presented and taste great. You simply have to have the flat iron steak for mains (even if you're a veggie) - awesome!
Love the decor in here, but the coffee is overrated. Whilst I don't Starbucks caffeine poisoning, coffees can sometimes taste weak. Cakes however are very good.
Solid Italian cuisine. Any pizza and pasta deals on Monday evenings can get very busy. For the sake of a few pounds I'd go another night. Penne a la vodka pasta is excellent. Pizzas 7.5/10.
One of my favourite deli places. Sit in and try any of the platters - delicious. Good selection of imported and local pork meats. Some interesting cheeses too
The milkshakes are big enough to share between two and are very filling. If there's four if you why not mix two shakes to make yr own combo.... Chocolate banana!! ;0)
