Best fish restaurant I've ever been to. Even earns a spot on my "Global Best" list. I could eat here every night.
Really well done museum. I'd recommend starting your Iceland visit here as it provides some great history and context for the things that you'll be seeing as you visit the rest of the country.
Generally regarded as one of the better restaurants in town. We did the tasting menu and it was quite good but I still preferred our meals at Messinn.

We didn't do the hot springs but they have a demonstration on baking rye bread in the hot springs that was delicious.

The history of this place is really cool and you can try such local delicacies as pickled shark and whale steaks. ...if you're brave.

Nice hotel that puts all of Vik in walking distance, not that that's difficult to do. They also offer the very valuable service of Norther Lights wake up calls.
A nice restaurant out in this neck of the woods. Good but nothing to write home about. Reasonably priced, though, especially by Iceland standards.
