    This is a fantastic old-fashioned barbeque place in central Texas. Take your parents here for some ribs or turkey. The pork chop is always good.

    Venison sausage is great - not too greasy with a good pop to the casing and wonderful flavor. The chicken sandwich is sweet, spicy, and vinegary all at the same time. Pretty good!

    Food is great, the employees are very friendly. Love going. It's one of the great Belton hang-outs!

    The sauce, sides, and tea were awesome. The brisket didn't taste smoked, and they threw away all the flavorful bits even though we asked for those pieces, and they ran out of bread.

    Smoked quail rocks! Ribs are disappointing...didn't even have a smoke ring. BBQ sauce is just vinegar and ketchup. Pecan pie is very good.

    This is ok bbq, paying more for the atmosphere. It's not bad, just not special. The only thing I like was the coleslaw, if your picky about slaw skip it, bland and unimpressive.

    Pretty good brisket. Not smoked low and slow. It it's cooked before they "smoke" it. Pork Chips are amazing!

    Brisket was not quite what I expected. Did not have a deep smoke ring nor any charred ends, a little disappointed. Sausage was okay. The quail on the other hand was outstanding!

    Dont come with lrg grps even if you reserved it over 2 mos in advance. They wont serve you. 3 yrs im a row these "people" have done this.

    Coordinators BEWARE!! The owner over books, lies, is rude and does not honor his reservations. 45 people he left literally out in the cold after a two month reservation and a confirmation the day of!

    Disappointed!! It didn't taste like bbq in my opinion and the chicken was super dry, corn bread dry and the Cole slaw was just ok. Step up your game!!

    Not real BBQ. Tasted like oven cooked meats. Will try it one more time before crossing it off the list.

    Horrible service is an understatement. How do you treat a group of 45 like you don't care after they were clearly confirmed just hours before!!!
