The ramen is classic, almost as well executed as Ippudo and much lighter, and tastes as good as the wait is painful. Arrive before 6 or wait 90m. Split the two daily ramens.
They rotate chefs. If you go while Ichicoro is still there, go for the spicy brothless soba! It's like a spicy, Japanese carbonara, and it's amazing!
Amazing experience! the short rib steamed buns are out of this world. The ramens are all delicious. The service is attentive. Definitely one of NYC's great unique Japanese spots!!!

It's wagamama more can be said? As good as any of their other locations, the main draw is the katsu curry. That said, the wagamama ramen is the best bang for your buck. They have chicken and veg broth

David Chang's awesome, new Korean leaning Italian restaurant. Feels like Ssam Bar in ambition, quality, and price. Get all the pastas: Cace e Pepe, Chicken & Dumplings (soup), and Clams Grand Lisboa.
Lives up to David Chang's reputation. The dishes are inventive and flavorful. The pastas in particular are not to be missed- we enjoyed the Ceci e Pepe, Clams Grand Lisboa, and Spicy Beef Sichuan.
After 11pm on the weekends they have a late night menu with a great smokey, porky noodle soup

The seaweed bucatini is one of the best pastas I've had in NY because of its incredible flavor. The burrata dish is also great. I regret not getting the tasting menu; definitely better value! 9/10

$16 lunch sets gets you your choice of small ramen, rice bowl, and pickled cabbage. An extra $3 gets 2 steamed gyoza or a bao. Ramen is decent, not great. The rice bowls and apps is where it shines.
Really great noodles, with even better service!! The dry noodles with uni is the perfect blend of Asian and Italian
Churutto Ramen is surprisingly most decent ramen on UES. Noodles were perfect & chicken broth was very good. Special Mazemen was fair. Homemade Pork Gyoza were great! Just wish they had a pork ramen.
Same Chinese owners as Sushi Ren, Tenzan & Guzan (no longer a physical shop)-all w/ ok not great sushi..so Poke is not what I’d get here.
Amazing addition to the neighborhood. Great tap list, amazing food (get the cheese/charcuterie platter, pretzel and pickles) and friendly service. Love the shop in front too for delicious things!
New ramen import by way of Korea. They make their ramen on site and their broth is on point. Loved their black ramen and tonkotsu ramen. Their gyoza is must.
Sunday Brunch here was great. Got the spaghetti with clam in white sauce as well as the garganelli bolognese.
The pasta here is to die for. We started with the foie gras (OMG), then we split the cavatelli & tortelloni, bombolini & choc dome dessert. It was probably the best meal I've had in all of America.

Altho’ Ippudo still reigns supreme among ramen spots w/ its broth & my fave bowl, Akamaru Modern, its strict no take-away (even w/ leftovers) & no extra-garlic-oil-on-side policies are turn-offs.

This place has the same feel as Tiny Thai and M-thai and taste the same. The Sukho Noodle Soup is basically tom yum noodle soup with lots of different toppings.
My fave @ New World Mall food court after Tea Twitter (sadly) left. Get the Taiwanese Beef Noodle or the Roast Pork Noodle w/ the Tea Egg- you’ll be able to top off both w/ unlimited pickles.
Happy this N. Chinese hand-pulled chain is part of the UES. Try their Spicy & Tingly Beef Noodle, the Oxtail Noodle & my fave are their Spicy & Sour Spinach Dumplings.
Best 1000-yr old egg w/ pork congee, Spicy fried fish ball, Chinese broccoli & Yau Choy w/ Oyster sauce in NYC! Also, decent tasting XLB & Pork in (not so) hot Spicy sauce lo mein. Will be be back!
