I went with a large group and discovered the service was impeccable! The Mac and Cheese with the fried chicken and fried whiting were delicious!! Topped off with the Banana Pudding, our meal was great
Chicken and waffles are the go to here, but don't forget to order collard greens and Mac & Cheese. You will be in heaven.

Marcus Samuelsson hit a grand slam. The ambiance is terrific; like a contemporary speakeasy. The food is even better. Try the mac & greens, crayfish grits, red caesar, and the dirty rice & shrimp!
Terrific soul food. The chicken & waffle with strawberry butter is a classic. Tuesday night live band music was incredible R&B, great singer and keyboard. Local crowd, Greta atmosphere, great service!

You know going to a Samuelson location you are in for a good time and good food. While this is a chicken joint, New Jack Fried Rice is awesome

OMG! You can't go wrong with anything. The codfish and lemon crisps, saltfish fritters, jerk eggplant absolutely delicious. We.know the owners so down to earth

Sunday brunch is pretty good. I had my usual, french toast and an omelet. Nothing special, but definitely good. The white sangria is a MUST try. Popular spot w/ limited seating so get there early
