One of the most beautiful gothic cathedrals in the world. The best way to appreciate it is to come to Mass or Choral Evensong - just ask the guides for times.โหวตขึ้น Mar 17

Mik Unknownมกราคม 22, 2018Years I been back and too. To York Minster I got some very old images I took of the 1984 fire when lightening hit the roof. It was sad to see all the damage done that day. Well worth money to view it

Be sure to be at the minster at midnight on NYE-- an experience you never want to forget!

For the best views over York, climb the Minster Tower. Costs a few pounds - and you need to be in shape for the climb - but well worth it.
