Handmade noodles, soft braised pork and tender chicken breast. Broth is rich but not oily, good down to the last drop. Wanton is rather average though. Hassle-free kiosk ordering.
Looking for something light? Try the chuka soba - clear broth with hints of yuzu. Refreshing and yet still retains the umami of ramen broth. Awesome!
Normal soup can be a bit salty; otherwise everything else in the Tori King Special bowl hits the spot!

Crowded on weekends but orderly. The view of Tokyo and Mt Fuji on a clear day is worth the 90 mins easy hike up! Have a picnic or grab a hot bowl of soba here.

Room has no space to open up any large luggage, but other than that it's perfect and cosy. Modern decor, good beds. Very good service at front desk. Check out the wake-up-time setting on the TV!

Labrak fillet with prawns and mushroom sauce (149NIS) - fresh fish, well cooked and juicy. Prawns a little over-grilled so shrivelled up a bit. Otherwise nice combination of flavours.
Tip for eating the superb moondance special tenderloin sizzler overflowing with veggies - get a side plate and offload some potato wedges onto ketchup. Additional yums.
Fast, friendly service; only 8-course set served on weekends. Very filling! Try the avocado sushi roll with melt-in-your-mouth tempura tofu and sticky date pudding.
The eggs are amazing scrambled. Try tamago yaki too! Beef with the original sauce does not disappoint. Come early when it opens and there's no queue. Be prepared to smell like BBQ afterwards though.

If you're into spicy stuff, the Nagoya noodles has a good kick. Ask for the small portion of free rice at the end of the meal and mix in with the remaining minced meat sauce.
