Absolutely magical. The Hall of Mosses trail is a short, easy hike through some serious LOTR territory. The Spruce trail is definitely recommended too, as it leads to the breath taking Hoh River.
Best view of the mountains on the peninsula. Drive up through the tunnels for some great hiking.

Stand at the corner of 5th and Spring, across from the library, to capture the entire building. A reflection of the sunset on the building is possible from late spring to early summer.
This is a MUST-SEE if you visit Seattle! The glass sculptures are incredible and the garden is beautiful at night. Make sure to buy your ticket 1 hour before closing time. Also, Space Needle is nearby
Situated on the edge of Beacon Hill, Dr. Jose Rizal Park provides a unique vantage point that highlights Seattle's financial district. The dog park is also very large and has diverse terrain.

Aside from watching a sunset from a ferry boat, Golden Gardens is second to none. Come early to picnic. Buddy-up with strangers at a bonfire. Drink until the sun sets behind the Olympic Mountains.
