This hidden “neighborhood” of 19th century wooden row houses is one of the most beautiful mews in NYC. The cobblestone lane was originally a carriage path leading to the nearby Morris-Jumel mansion.
Hidden between 95th and 94th Streets, this uniquely charming “micro-neighborhood” is one of NYC’s best kept secrets. Built in 1921 by nightclub owner Thomas J. Healy, it is named after a 1910 play.

Ambiance! Loved the plants, wooden table tops, spiral stone staircase, old beams. Intimate date spots abound inside (cozy up in a turret!). The John Collins was delicious. Try the chocolate bourbon!

was on a Basquiat (which I believe was 1st exhibition here). Gallery itself is amazing: spacious rooms, tons of light, amazing NYC view from 3rd floor, small pool on a rooftop (!). Worth visiting! 🖤
We went to friday eve free night. It was crowded with people. We still had a good time. Go around 6.30 pm there is no line.
Not your usual museum! This place has some pretty crazy spy artefacts on show and also very helpful staff to show you around. I would highly recommend a visit.
20$ well spent for first class jazz.not much room inside so get there early. 3 daily sessions from 7:30pm. Great atmosphere. No food
One of my fave museums in the city, always with fresh & interesting exhibits in a beautiful space. Free on the first Sat of the month w live music & talks from 5-11pm, but any day is awesome here.
For good, quiet exploration; The period rooms on the 4th floor are perfect for this.
Great bookstore offering excellent classes. Was in a cool Patricia Highsmith Ripley reading group. Cafe with natural wines.
Chancellor cocktail is amazing! Perfectly balanced. Music starts around 9pm. Better reserve a table as it gets crazy packed.
