A great place(Island)where more than 300 type of tropical plants are planted there.. Great place to set and breath pure air
The temple is back to the roman times,was dedicated to Nubian god Mandoulis,dates back to time of roman emperor Augustus,later other emperor contributed for the construction,such as kaligula & Trjan

The complex covers a total area of 2 sq. km, and its name "Karnak" means "fortified settlement" in Arabic. The temple of Amun, the complex's main structure, is the largest place of worship ever built.
Good photo opportunity. Incredible to think this once stretched the entire distance between Karnak and Luxor Temples
Have to say I agree the temple is much better at night with less people around making it wonderful & quite, I would say go at 8 - 8:30pm as hardly any one is around then :)
The modest Tutankhamun, marked simply outside with a small plaque reading “Tut Ankh Amon. Tomb 62”, is truly wondrous. Athough 63 tombs have been discovered, only about 11 are open at any one time.
One of the most beautiful temples in the Valley of the Kings belongs to the Queen! Very hot there in most days of the year, so be ready before exploring the place. อ่านเพิ่มเติม
You have to see this Valley as something different it is unique with the radiant colors and scenes very different to the valley of the kings that's what makes it worth the visit. Very understated!
Take time to do as may tombs as possible as all worth it for the radiant colors alone! Sennefer is my fav along with Benu and Ramose. Take change with you as tipping is expected. prices 15 to 35le
After hiding away in Jaw's van, James Bond and Anya Amasova are driven here for a show-down with the henchman, but ultimately escape with the microfilm they were after in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977).
Only stopped for a quick photo opportunity - the two statues are badly weathered and aren't worth a visit in their own right - prob best for a quick stop on way back to hotel only
Understated Temple; worth a visit only 35Le to get in. Take a walk around the outside walls of the temple as the scenes are amazing. Go early to avoid the day tour buses that arrive around 11am - 12pm

While there, you have to imagine how they discovered those tombs in between the mountains while there was no cars, no paved routes, etc...
Good choice of spices, karcade, henna. Cheap prices for cotton clothes. The market works until 9-10 P.M.
The only structure of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World that still stands today. Take bus routes 355 or 357 from central Cairo to get to this mysterious and breathtaking site.
Odyoo Egypt Favorite: The Sphinx is a lot smaller then one would think. For the best photos you will want to shoot from the right hand side after you pass by the "Tour Guide Well".
Go here if you want to see treasures of Tutankhamun, remains of Ramses III, mummy of Queen Hatshepsut, many other mummified pharaohs, and an impressive collection of papyrus and coins.
This is a historical public town square in Cairo. the Tahrir Square has been the place for historical events such as the 1977 Egyptian Bread Riots and the recent 2011 Egyptian Revolution.

James Bond travels to the Ibn Tulun mosque for a meeting with Aziz Fekkesh in The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), but Fekkesh isn't there and one of Stromberg's henchmen, Sandor, tries to assassinate Bond.
a small museum but quite interesting and nice place to stroll by during afternoon time. I particularly love the main hall and the rooftop.

Known as the oldest university in the world, this is the first place where Islamic scholarship thrived. One of the most impressive sites is the courtyard, which has been around since the 10th century.
Giving your shoes to the shoe keeper means you have to give bakseesh(tips) - at least 1 egypt pound!
No visit to Cairo is complete without a stop at the old Arab souk of Khan el Khalili. When your shopping's done, dont miss out on a traditional cup of tea at the famous Fishawi's cafe.
Wonderful place. Sunday is the best day in the week because almost of shops are close. Best time in the day after sunset till before 9:30. Because the street open for crash after 9:30
Its very different in the morning than at night,go both times for full experience
Traditional music concerts are held every Friday and Sunday at 7:00 PM, but show up a bit earlier to reserve a seat as it's free!

By tradition, this (in back) is the site where Moses was pulled from the reeds.
They only serve Koshary, an inexpensive, Egyptian vegetarian dish made from noodles, rice, onion, pasta, lentils, tomato sauce and shatta (hot spice).
For me Cilantro has the best hot chocolate & cheesecake in Cairo. Their club sandwiches are nice as well.
One of the best oriental restaurants in town. Food is tasty, waiters are happy and serving you with a smile. I tried and loved fool zooba, ta'miya zooba & pickled tomatoes. Will surly come back again
