A friend described this place as "where the Twitter kids go to spend their IPO money"... tho cheap compared to NYC cocktails IMHO. The "Informant" was best drink I tried.
The omakase here is insane. Maybe best sushi I've had in the USA. Be sure to ask to try all the diff types of uni & eat something that's been blowtorched. (pic = wagyu, btw)
Packed w/ all the cool-kid tech folks (they're all investors!) and everything I tried on the menu is awesome. Standouts: the 1780 Old Fashioned, deviled eggs, pork trotter (!!), rocky road sundae
Classy, old school spot for a steak. Solid bernaise sauce. The house cocktail (shit I can't remember the name!) is a wee petite but go for it anyway. ProTip: Go splitty-split on 2 steaks w a buddy
Apparently all the Texas kids go nutty over the Tex-Mex queso ("it's super authentic!). A-okay with me... as long as I can dip my chipz in it.
Bring a friend and do a spiltty-split with a crispy burrito & some crispy tacos. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR CRISPY! So good. ps. if you grab a seat outside near windows you can watch them cut up the pork!
