Cody Griggers: Loved the aperitivo cocktails -- negroni sbagliato 16 made with whiskey is really good! Perfect location in the sun in the evening hours.
Cody Griggers: Perfectly executed, authentic German food (in a city where it's often easier to find better pho than schnitzel) on a beautiful corner with outdoor seating just across from the lake.
Cody Griggers: Have a chat with the friendly (and totally passionate) bartenders about what you like and they'll steer you in the right direction. A new fave in Mitte!
Cody Griggers: A real hidden gem -- could spend hours just lazing the day away in the quiet, tranquil beauty of this little oasis. Frequent (low-key) events keep things lively but chill.
Cody Griggers: Perfect boutique hotel in the heart of it all...literally a stone's throw from the Duomo and probably shares a wall with the Galleria...great breakfast, stylish interior and friendly staff. Perfect!
Cody Griggers: Inventive cocktails and creative twists on classics, like the Negroni with hints of a coffee liquor and smoky mezcal (sounds weird but try it)!
Cody Griggers: A great little oasis in this corporate dead zone of a neighborhood. Spacious interior with plenty of seating make it a good place to linger and enjoy, although of course you can also grab n go.

Cody Griggers: German comfort food prepared with a slightly more upscale twist. Lunch menu is limited but a great value, while the dinner menu a bit 'fancier'. Schnitzel is perfect.
Cody Griggers: Nothing else compares. Go for the perfect classic breads and don't miss the heavenly walnut rolls which are a lesser-known star if the bread selection. And of course you'll need to grab a schnecken..
Cody Griggers: You've never seen so many types of spätzle, I promise. Go for the carbonara or ham/champignons for creamy cheesy goodness (warning: this is NOT diet food!). Often has great hearty borscht as well.
Cody Griggers: Great beers and a refreshing outpost of homey German food in hipsterville. Warm, friendly and more local vibe than a lot of the more touristy brauhaus places you'll come across.
Cody Griggers: Surprisingly good food at reasonable prices -- not usually the case in such a place. The rösti with bacon and cheese was seriously good!
Cody Griggers: Couldn't imagine a better place to stay in Lucerne. Impeccably designed rooms with stunning views onto the river, a perfect position in the Aldstadt and as a bonus, a really great bar.
