Not easy to find as another bar is upstairs. They, however, are in the basement in a very small space. Glad to support the Japan craft beer scene, but not thrilled with the cigarette smoke.

A fun little standing bar that sells the full gamut of Hitachino Nest for a reasonable price. The food is in jars and the place is a cozy retro-modern place built in a tunnel. Highly recommended!
A fantastic bar that serves their own brew from Niigata and selections from around Japan. The crew knows how to make you feel at home and the food is great. A must-do for the craft beer fan.
Rotating selection of unique and hard to find international beers to take home and four sizes of growler. Some really unique sherry, white wine and green tea too.
Stumbled upon this beer hall which is tucked away in a corner in Ueno. Makes for a pleasant stop after a morning in Ueno Park. 600 yen for a small craft veer.
