Delicious, simple food. The quiche crust was buttery and flaky, and the eggs Benedict cooked perfectly. The service was a bit chaotic on this first day back in 2020 but I think we can overlook that.

There’s a nice selection of whiskies and wines, and the food is good and well prepared and presented. The steak was cooked exactly to temperature and the haggis was very nicely spiced.
The Shepherd’s Pie is more of a stew than pie, but very delicious. And it’s a true shepherd’s pie at that: lamb, not beef. Highly recommended!
A great place to have a beer and relax. Nice classic atmosphere. The bar snacks are good too, especially the fries.

Great atmosphere. Definitely social. Brunch entrees were OK; cocktails and starters were great. Great place for a date, or a group of friends. Eat, drink, play.
