Giant sandwiches ftw but don't expect anything except perfunctory service at best and massive delays at the worst. Still food and coffee are good
Warm staff. Nice food. Wallet friendly... and there's a nice place to sit out the back.
If you're looking for something lite consider the jam on toast. The rasberry and grappa jam is delicious and the quince and rosewater sounds pretty funky (though I haven't tried it)
The 'karp dee' dessert special (chocolate pudding with coconut ice cream) is soooo good. So much 'better than sex'!! ;)
Just opened, this place has the friendliest people & fantastic sushi (plus an opening special of 50% off all rolls)... definitely recomended!
This is a brilliant lunch spot. Laksa prepared in seconds is hard to go by. Great value. (Takeaway laksa also a great option)

A little slice of Melbourne, in true form hidden away from the main drags of Sydney. Cosy and relaxed in early evenings after 6pm.
Westernised Cantonese, with some tasty highlights- rice rolls, scallop dim sums, ma pu. Not sure about the chilli prawns, tastes strangely similar to Kan Tong.
Everything I've tried is great! No mediocre dishes, even the soy sauce is special. Fav dishes: shabu-shabu, kingfish sukiyaki, edamame roll, spicy tuna roll, green tea soba salad... I can go on!
Amazing place!! Service = excellent & knowledgable. Food = outstanding. Wine list = extensive. Be prepared to possibly wait for a table after 6:30pm, however it's totally worth it!!
After much searching, these people have the best bacon and egg roll in the area. Soft roll, loads of bacon, and all freshly made when you order. Even the bread is made on the premises.

Whatever you order, save room for the black sesame creme caramel. It's just about the best Japanese dessert you'll find in Sydney.

I'm becoming more enamoured with every visit. Excellent balsamic corned beef sandwich, and lovely vibrant green zucchini and Fetta fritters. Service is well-intentioned. Space itself is pretty.
Eddie brought the Haus Bao (signature certified angus skirtsteak bao, seen on Food Network's Ultimate Recipe Showdown) and Chairman Bao (Niman ranch pork belly bao) to Choice Eats. Amazing.
Venison with chocolate and blueberries is a masterpiece, they smoke their own duck breast prosciutto which is ahh-mazing and the tonno with watermelon and wasabi is my summer 2010 dish of the season.
