I'm sure they're awesome. I just don't like the weird stuff they do to my face. My wife loved it though!

I usually go here for the ice cream. But they have a lot of different drinks. Nice stop when you're out for a walk or in for one of the mini-festivals.

Not a lot of more historical rock clubs in LA. Not as awesome as it used to be, but lots of awesome acts still love to play there!
Yup, it's a Target. Nicer than most though. And pretty slow on Saturday or Sunday mornings or after about 8 or 9 pm on weekdays.
Not totally kid friendly, but great pizza. I think I'll just bring it home when I have my daughter with me!
Braised beef, muscles or the warm beat salad. Not a fan of some of their specialty pizzas though...
They aren't open during the weekend usually. Which is too bad, because it's easier to get over there when there aren't a ton of students walking around!

Always busy, but well worth it during happy hour! Get the miniature burgers (odd tip for a sushi place, but whatever, they're awesome)!
Bit overpriced but a good selection of beers, typically greasy bar food and happy to change the station to the Georgia game if you ask nicely!
Closest thing to authentic Swedish meatballs this side of the Atlantic. But the real jewel is the salmon (when they have it)!
If you like fried food with your thick beer, this is the place. Live music out back during the summer.
