If there for a group, go for the fried chicken over the ribs. Pickled water melon rind is delicious...who knew?! Probably never would have tried it if it weren't on the salad bar.
Mention that you are a first-timer for a free pot likker soup. Lots of good choices here for Southern specialties.
Fog Cutter was great, and one of my favorite Mai Tais was a happy follow-up drink. Happy hour specials were good, get the chorizo tacos. Enjoyed talking with Zach behind the bar. Very knowledgable.
The beverage seminars are usually fun and informative. Great deal for $15 with the cooking demos, you get a small plate, glass of wine, and the recipe.
